METAV 2022 [VERSCHOBEN] in Düsseldorf

The METAV, International Trade Fair for Technology and Metalworking, takes place every two years as the leading trade fair at the traditional location of Düsseldorf. The organizer, Verein Deutscher Werkzeugmaschinenfabriken (Association of German Machine Tool Builders), brings together experts from all areas of the production technology value chain at METAV by offering a wide range of seminars and conferences in addition to the actual trade fair event. The entire spectrum of modern production technology for the metalworking industries will be presented. From machine tools to precision tools to automation components, you can find everything at METAV. The first event of the fair took place in 1980 - thus the trade fair is established and has a certain tradition.

In 2020 the METAV couldn't take place as planned, it was held in digital form. The fair in 2020 celebrated its 40th anniversary. But the METAV 2018 attracted more than 26,000 visitors, who were impressed by the products and innovations of the more than 560 exhibitors on an exhibition area of approx. 24,000 m². In 2018 62% of the visitors were interested in machine tools, 27% in test and measurement technology and 24% in robotics and automation.
