As the international meeting place for the industry, Formnext showcases the entire range of additive manufacturing and its upstream and downstream processes. Due to the pandemic, Formnext had to be held digitally in 2020. In 2021, the trade fair was again able to welcome visitors in physical form and continue the success of previous years. 17,859 visitors were inspired by the products of the 606 exhibitors on an area of 33,600 sqm. Numerous world premieres along the entire process chain were presented and important future-oriented solutions for decentralized production, safe process chains, efficiency and sustainability were presented.
