Vertical Pro 2022 in Friedrichshafen

At Vertical Pro, professionals from the climbing and climbing hall industry meet and can exchange ideas, inform themselves and speak with the exhibitors on site and get inspired. Furthermore, the event connects professionals from different fields, such as rope and belay professionals, as well as from rescue organizations, aid organizations and the occupational safety area.
Last year, the show welcomed around 1500 vertical professionals who traveled from over 30 different countries to get their fill of booths in the roughly 16,000 sq. ft. of space that was divided across two halls. Exhibitors came from around 23 different countries in 2021, bringing the number of participating companies to 141.
The trade show features the latest innovations, which can be showcased with the flexible booth sizes offered by the organizers. As height workers and sportsmen, there is an opportunity to learn about and get acquainted with new protective equipment, as well as to get acquainted with the latest accessories. Among them will be standard objects of the sector such as carabiners, ropes, harnesses, workwear and mountaineering boots, as well as climbing holds, rope clamps and accessories, presented in their latest and most innovative form.

The Vertical Pro is particularly distinguished by its Demo and Test Area, which will be available to visitors to test newly learned or newly acquired skills on a climbing tree, the bouldering wall, turntable ladder or on the container tower. In addition, there is also a Dark Room, which is provided for visitors to use.
The fair offers an atmosphere and provides a place where it is possible and encouraged to network with other athletes and interested visitors, as well as to promote contact with exhibitors, to exchange ideas and to inspire each other. Obtaining information, directly on the spot and consulting with professionals also distinguishes the event and offers the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the industry and get an idea of the direction in which trends will move in the coming seasons.
The events social program also features panel discussions and presentations on a variety of relevant topics. Presentations span from topics on sustainability in the climbing industry, the ecological context or the evolution of the tourism industry.
