Reeperbahn Festival 2022 in Hamburg

After the founding of the festival in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has now become one of the most important events of its kind. At the event, artists from mainly European countries can come together with fans and others who are interested, who can get their fill of the international and diverse line up. Over four days, professionals, journalists and enthusiasts can enjoy a mix of established artists as well as the latest up and coming bands and artists at various locations, in numerous venues.

Besides the great music aspect, the festival is also particularly known for offering a large program that exhibits formats of other areas of the arts. Among them there is a large film and video offer, which is presented in different contexts and for literature enthusiasts there is a wide spectrum too.
The Reeperbahn Festival not only offers an event where networking with other visitors and the artists themselves is possible, but also offers explicit networking events which visitors can participate in. Other highlights of this year's social program include the annual award show for artists, where the jury hopes to help guide young artists through the distribution of awards and serve as a conduit between them and an international audience. There will also be gatherings, showcases and other performances.
The organizers place special emphasis on creating a space where dialogue between artists and the audience is possible and productive, so that both parties can leave the festival inspired and with new impulses and ideas.
