bpt-Kongress 2022 in Hannover

The bpt congress is one of the most renowned training events for practicing veterinarians in German-speaking countries. Every year, it is organized by the Bundesverband Praktizierender Tierärzte e.V., or bpt for short. The professional program includes ATF-recognized continuing education courses for small animal, equine and farm animal practice, food safety and practice management. In addition, a one-day continuing education course specifically geared to veterinary nurses and veterinary assistants will be offered.

Accompanying the bpt Congress will be a veterinary trade fair, professional practice advice, job fair and a get together.

The 2021 bpt Congress was held exclusively in virtual format. A total of 1,716 participants followed the live webinars on current professional policy topics, zoo and wild animals, bees and ruminants, but also on the topic of performance pressure and stress. A special highlight was the lecture by the founding director of the Helmholtz Institute for One Health, Prof. Dr. Fabian Leendertz, who provided information on the development of zoonoses.
