ALTENPFLEGE 2024 in Essen

ALTENPFLEGE, the sectors leading trade fair, offers a focus on the multifaceted areas of care for the elderly. Whether stationary, semi-residential or ambulant, from care and therapy to clothing, kitchen, home economics, building services, interior design, personnel recruitment and information technology, all important topics will be highlighted here. The majority of the trade fair participants are trade visitors - experts, decision-makers and professionals working in nursing care for the elderly meet here every year for a specialist dialogue.

ALTENPFLEGE 2019 attracted a total of 28,000 visitors, who were delighted by the 700 exhibitors and their products, innovations and services on display. The core areas were Care & Therapy, Profession & Education, IT & Management, Catering & Home Economics and Space & Technology. The fair was opened by Melanie Huml (CSU), Minister of State for Health and Care. Andreas Westerfellhaus, the Federal Government Commissioner for Nursing, Bernd Meurer, President of bpa, and other important personalities from the nursing sector also took part in ALTENPFLEGE 2019. The motto of the event was "Nursing care for the elderly in motion".
