KOMMUNALE 2027 in Nürnberg

KOMMUNALE 2027 will take place on October 20 and 21 at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg and is the leading nationwide trade fair and congress for municipal needs. It is aimed at municipal decision-makers such as mayors, department heads, urban planners, and procurement officers from cities, municipalities, and municipal enterprises.

The main topics of KOMMUNALE 2027 include:

• Sustainability, climate and environmental protection in municipal infrastructure
• Digitalization, IT and communication technologies for administration and processes
• Mobility, e-mobility, alternative drive systems, and fleet management
• Public space, green space maintenance, road and traffic technology
• Waste disposal, water supply, and infrastructure solutions

The trade fair covers three halls with around 15,000 m² of exhibition space and combines specialist forums, IT talks, and the Bavarian Municipal Council Congress. Exhibitors present solutions for e-mobility, digital administration management, AI-supported work processes, and smart urban design in practical demonstrations.

In 2025, KOMMUNALE set a record with over 624 exhibitors and more than 8,000 trade visitors; similar or increased participation is expected for 2027. The event is considered a central meeting place for jointly solving municipal challenges and presenting innovative approaches – supported by forums, networking zones, and digital hubs.
