Security Essen 2020 [VERSCHOBEN]

Security Essen is the leading trade fair for security. It had its first event in 1974 and now takes place every two years. All facets of the security industry are represented here, such as everything to do with fire protection, cyber security, CCTV, economic protection, mechanical security technology, smoke and gas warning systems, robbery, burglary and theft reports, video surveillance and control technology. The following topics will also be covered: electronic security technology, information protection, close combat self defence equipment, work and protective clothing, terror and disaster prevention, criminal technology, security services and training. 

More than 36,000 visitors came to Security Essen 2018 to see the products and innovations of the more than 950 exhibitors on an exhibition area of approximately 67,000 m². The main topics for 2020 are:

In addition to the actual trade fair, visitors to the "Security Experts Forum" in 2018 were able to benefit from a non-stop programme with more than 90 presentations. For 2020 there will be, amongst others, the following events: The proven "Security Experts Forum", training courses in cooperation with "Haus der Technik", the "Day of Training and Further Education", the joint "Education Provider" stand, the "Career Forum", guided tours of the trade fair, drone races at the joint drone stand, the special area "research and development", as well as the "Cyber Security Conference" with top-class experts.
