SHK Essen 2022

SHK Essen is the trade fair for sanitation, heating, air conditioning and renewable energies. It was founded in 1966 and takes place every two years in Essen. It is here, where experts from the trades, installation, planning and consulting meet. Among other things, energy-efficient solutions for bathrooms, heating and air-conditioning will be presented. For example, bathroom fittings made of sustainable materials and digital heating technology. Now that the modernisation work at Messe Essen has been completed, exhibitors and visitors can look forward to one of the most technically advanced exhibition centres in the whole of Germany. 


2022 the SHK will take place for the sixth time. In 2018 44,000 visitors from 18 nations travelled to the SHK Essen. They were inspired by the range of products, innovations and solutions from the 567 exhibitors from 15 countries. The focus for SHK 2020 will be on air and water hygiene and pollutants.

Part of the concept of the fair are daily changing or recurring lectures on air and water hygiene and pollutants. The exhibition space is located centrally around the forum, for direct exchange between the professional circles. The meeting point drinking water stands for an additional component of the indoor hygiene forum.
