The Leipzig Book Fair is an important meeting place for everyone in the book and media industry. Readers, authors, publishers and media come together from the national as well as the international area to exchange news and the variety of literature and to get new perspectives. The fair offers a platform for literature mediation and reading promotion.

There is also the possibility to visit the Manga-Comic-Con and the Leipzig Antiquarian Book Fair, which take place parallel to the book fair.
